My Story

My approach to therapy is eclectic in nature and includes multiple types of therapy such as solution-focused, mindfulness, narrative, psychodynamic, and more, depending on what my clients need to excel. My focus is creating a therapeutic alliance that is challenging, creative, direct, exploratory, structured, supportive, and validating.

I worked as a Substance Abuse Specialist for many years before going back to school to obtain my masters in Psychology. My experience includes working with people of all ages from children through late adulthood in various settings. I have a wide range of experience in abuse and trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic illness, cultural issues, family dynamics, the queer community, and women’s issues, to name a few. My specialties, however, include abuse and trauma, grief and loss, cultural issues, OCD, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+/identity. I'm also a MAP-informed therapist.

During my off time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and training my 5 parrots!

I also provide therapy services in Spanish.
