My Story

My name is Loren Solis and I am a Psychological Associate and doctoral student in Clinical Psychology. I have experience working across correctional, inpatient, outpatient, and crisis-stabilization settings. Working in these settings has shaped my clinical skills, but more importantly, it has deepened my respect for each person’s unique story. I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from many different backgrounds as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. Over time, this work has shown me how powerful it can be for people to simply feel seen, heard, and supported.

The foundation of my work is the connection that I build with each client. I care deeply about creating a space where you can show up just as you are, speak openly, and explore challenges without fear of judgment. My approach draws from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Positive Psychology, while staying flexible and attentive to your individual needs—because healing is deeply personal, and it looks different for everyone. I also take a holistic view of healing, recognizing that our thoughts, emotions, physical well-being, and sense of meaning are all closely connected.

My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you during challenging moments and support you in building insight, resilience, and practical tools to help your life feel more balanced and manageable.
