Kyoko Mori, ACSW

My name is Kyoko Mori, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) dedicated to helping clients cultivate resilience, clarity, and self-compassion. I blend mindfulness, motivational interviewing, CBT, and DBT to support clients in building self-awareness, emotional balance, and connection. Guided by social-justice, relational, and cultural values, I meet clients where they are and create a calm, supportive space where they feel seen and empowered to grow.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a creative professional and salon owner—experiences that shaped my holistic, human-centered approach to healing. I work with adolescents and adults seeking to deepen self-understanding, navigate relationships, and approach life with more clarity and compassion.

​

I share both my salon and therapy work with my beloved partner, Puppy Jaxon, whose joyful energy brightens every space we visit. On weekends, we can often be found at Coronado Dog Beach, where Puppy Jaxon plays with all his might—and I spend the rest of the afternoon making sure he’s once again clean, fluffy, and ready for our next adventure.
