My Story

Dr. Dawn  Venable  is a licensed clinical psychology associate  with a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Special Education, specializing in emotional disturbance and learning disabilities. She also holds a graduate certificate in sex addictions. Her clinical and research work has focused on bereavement, caregiver stress, and the challenges of living with terminal illness, equipping her with deep insight into the complex emotional experiences of her clients.

 

Dr. Venable employs a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. She has extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating cultural adjustment and immigration-related stressors, helping them build resilience and adapt to life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, empathetic, and informed by both clinical expertise and research.

 

Dr. Venable is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful growth and healing.
